How JoinComu works

JoinComu is a directory for discovering and publishing listings for external communities. This guide explains the full journey before you browse or submit one.

For discovery

If you are looking for a community

Browse with context and decide for yourself whether a community is right for you.

  1. 1

    Explore the directory

Search for communities and filter by topic, category, country, platform or resource type.

  2. 2

    Review the public listing

Read the name, description, platform, reach and available warnings before opening the link.

  3. 3

    Use the safe exit

JoinComu shows a warning before the access button. If you continue, the safe exit opens the external destination without displaying the direct link in the listing.

  4. 4

    Assess the external community

Check its rules, administrators and safety signals. Conversations take place outside JoinComu.

  5. 5

    Report a problem

From the listing, you can report expired links, different content, possible scams or other issues.

For sharing

If you publish a community

Submit a clear listing and keep it current so people have useful information before they leave the directory.

  1. 1

    Complete the form

Provide a name, description, category, country, platform, resource type and a supported invitation link.

  2. 2

    Choose the duration

A publication can remain active for 7, 15 or 30 days. It does not renew automatically.

  3. 3

    Pass the available checks

JoinComu checks fields, link format, platform compatibility, duplicates and selected abuse or risk signals.

  4. 4

    Receive the outcome

The listing may be published or sent for review. Passing automated checks is not a complete prior review or a guarantee.

  5. 5

    End of the publication period

When the selected duration ends, the listing is no longer shown as an active publication. To appear again, a new publication must be submitted.

What JoinComu does

It adds a layer of organization and context before you visit an external platform.

  • Organizes listings by category, country, platform and community type.
  • Shows public information to help you compare options.
  • Keeps the direct link behind a controlled exit with a prior warning.
  • Applies technical and content checks during publication.
  • Accepts reports to support directory review and maintenance.

What JoinComu does not do

Communities and their links belong to external services and administrators.

  • It does not host community conversations, files or members.
  • It does not manage rules or moderation in external spaces.
  • It does not review every message, member or later change in advance.
  • It does not guarantee that a link or community will remain available or safe.
  • It does not renew publications automatically.

Safety tips

A listing provides context, but joining and participating always require your own judgment.

  • Confirm that the name, description and platform match what you expect.
  • Review the rules and administrator identities before participating.
  • Never share passwords, access codes or banking information.
  • Leave immediately if you encounter unexpected charges, impersonation, pressure or suspicious promises.
  • Use the listing to report expired links or concerning behavior.

Choose your next step

Explore available communities or publish a listing so other people can find it.
